Contractor Legal Options
An experienced Will Writer will take you through the whole process of drawing up a will. He will help with the decisions that you’ll need to make in order to ensure that those left behind will benefit in line with your wishes.
Will writing service - offers more than merely the drafting of your will. Each person’s circumstances are different and will change with time. With this in mind your particular wishes and circumstances will be fully discussed and set within the correct legal framework.
Enduring power of attorney - you can also have prepared an Enduring Power of Attorney. This legal document gives another person the right to act on your behalf should you be unavailable for a period of time – say contracting abroad for instance – or should you become mentally or physically incapable.
Living will - also known as an advance medical directive, this document is becoming increasingly topical given recent media coverage and allows you to express your wishes regarding medical treatment should you subsequently become incapable of communicating with your medical practitioners/family.
Document Storage - having put the correct legal documents in place you should ensure that they are stored in secure conditions. For a one off fee, the will and any other important documents can be locked safely away until such time as they need amending or are called into use. Amendments can be carried out without cost in many cases.
Civil Partnerships - in practice, most civil partnerships revoke an existing will and so it is vital that a new will is drawn up. Intestacy procedures apply in the case of civil partnerships but there are also now opportunities for IHT planning etc.
Fill in your contact details on the right hand side and we will arrange for a professional will writer to get in touch to discuss the options open to you.
